Project-Based Learning

La Salle Avenue Spanish Dual Language is a place of innovation and academic excellence! As an Academic English Mastery Program school (AEMP), it is our charge to provide culturally relevant and linguistically responsive lessons to the scholars daily as a supplement to the District curriculum. In order to support this theoretical framework and best prepare our students for mastery of the Common Core State Standards, the use of thematic lessons and project-based learning guides our instructional program. Teachers are require to use technology, culturally relevant literature, pedagogy and practices that are culturally aligned, differentiates, and integrates across curricular areas.
